Windows 8 Not Designed For Conventional Computers

If you are looking to run out and upgrade to the new Windows 8 that will be soon released, think again. This new operating system is designed with an entirely new interface called the Metro look. The design looks similar to what you see on your Smart Phone or I Phone. Basically, this new OS works on the principal of installing apps instead of programs. There is no conventional start menu or any of the familiar things that we have to grown to love about Windows. This absolutely not a replacement for your Windows 7 or even your Windows XP (still our favorite operating system).

The interface of Windows 8 is very easy to use if you use it on a Smart Phone or a Tablet. In these cases, the performance is great and the maneuverability is what you would expect from a touch screen device. The problem stems from using the system with a conventional mouse and keyboard. It is very difficult to do what you need to do and you won’t save any time. The learning curve is also g you down as you try to figure out how to do simple tasks. In short, most experts, including myself, do not recommend using Windows 8 as an upgrade to your existing computer. If you are using Windows Vista, upgrade to Windows 7 since it is much better and faster. If you are still using XP and your physical machine is still working, keep using it! It is a great operating system and with a good professional clean up, you should be able to keep using for years to come.
